You may be called for jury duty in any of three courts, i.e. District Court, County Court, or Justice of the Peace Court.  If you are summoned for jury duty, you will receive a Juror Questionnaire with your summons.  This questionnaire must be completed and returned to the District Clerk’s Office as quickly as possible.  Please note that the questionnaire provides you with the opportunity to certify that (1) you do not meet the qualifications for jury service, or (2) you are exempt from jury service.  If you return the questionnaire certifying that you are either disqualified or exempt from jury service, you are excused from jury service and need not appear.  You will not receive a response from the Court, and if you do appear, you will not be paid for jury service
